Platinum is the flagship product of our Internet and Computer Aided Cost Engineering Suite. Platinum has been built with the whole cost estimator in mind. We have brought together all the tools that support the complete life cycle of cost estimating in one application and extended it to support Internet collaboration. Development of cost estimates is accelerated. Greater attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness is promoted. Geographic boundaries have been removed giving new opportunities to create estimating teams and establish new workflows never possible before. Central to Platinum is its estimating engine. Designed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and EI 01D010 Engineering Instructions for Construction Cost Estimates specifications, Platinum simplifies the most complex of cost estimates while presenting detail not available to date. All views are designed to logically display as much data as possible in the least number of screens. The layout is predictable and orderly. All data is editable in place. Multiple alternate views are provided for task management, quality assurance, and data mining. Integrated scheduling instantly shows all costs and time changes as they occur. Fresh interface based on Windows XP’s look and feel. Building an estimate has never been easier or more accurate. Platinum gives your organization all the tools it needs. ICACES™ Platinum will be offered as a professionally hosted application service built on Microsoft .NET and powered by Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. The Platinum smart client will be optimized for Microsoft Windows XP and fully compatible with Windows 2000, NT, ME, and 98. Platinum is currently in Beta.
